Fall Road Trip to the project-based learning focused schools in Hudson County (HCST) (http://www.hcstonline.org/district/) Tues, Dec. 15 from 8AM-1:30PM.

The day will begin in the schools’ Resource Center with a framing discussion with Superintendent Gargiulo (http://www.northbergen.org/Officials/Official.aspx?id=4.)

You’ll have the opportunity to do 45 minute student-led “circuits” at

  • The Academy of Architectural and Contemporary Themes (AACT) http://www.hcstonline.org/district/Default.aspx?alias=www.hcstonline.org/district/aact;

  • Academy for Independent Studies (AIS) http://www.hcstonline.org/district/Default.aspx?alias=www.hcstonline.org/district/ais; and

  • the HSCT Environmental Academy, an exciting new option which opened this fall to serve overaged 7th graders (15 and 16) in an entirely project-based setting.

    • We’ll then have the opportunity to lunch with teachers from AACT from 12-12:45.
