On Wednesday, February 3rd, the first cohort of the AED Leadership Fellows* will celebrate the completion of their program by presenting their leadership portfolios and enjoying a group dinner. Your assistant principals in the program have worked extremely hard over the past year, and we are proud of the work they have done to ready themselves to become strong and effective Bronx middle grade principals. We cordially invite you to join us as we hear from each of them and celebrate their success. You will hear first-hand how the assistant principals you supported to participate in the program have grown, and how well prepared they now are to be principals.

Please join us for the portfolio presentations and celebratory dinner, at 4:30 pm at Frankie & Johnny’s Pine Tavern (1913 Bronxdale Avenue, Bronx, NY 10462, tel. 718-792-5956). Each Fellow will give a brief presentation on one of the highlights of their portfolios which document the in-school experiences and residency projects undertaken to practice and demonstrate their leadership skills.

After we enjoy hors d’oeuvres together, the portfolio presentation part of the evening will take place from 5:00 – 7:00 pm. Dinner will be served afterwards. We are happy to welcome you for both parts of the evening, though we recognize it makes for a long night and, therefore, we are also happy to accommodate you if you prefer to stay only for hors d’oeuvres and the portfolio presentations.
