Introduction to Differentiated Instruction

Students have different backgrounds, strengths, limitations, interests, styles, preferences, and needs. This workshop for teachers is designed to help teachers begin to differentiate their lessons to address different “intelligences” (as per Howard Gardner) and challenge level (as per Bloom’s Taxonomy) across a unit.

This is an introductory workshop that brings participants to a deeper understanding of differentiation and looks at differentiation over time. Later workshops will address differentiating a lesson to address the differing knowledge and skills of your students.
